What more can you ask for? Fall foliage, fog and clouds that grab the first light of sunrise. Oh, and one of the best views in the area.

I went a bit unconventional with the camera setup on this photo. I knew I wanted to use one of my tilt shift lenses to help with composing the shot, but even my 24mm was too wide. I opted to throw a modified 1.4x teleconverter on it, essentially making it a 35mm tilt shift. That allowed me to get a much tighter shot, but still have the benefits of a tilt shift lens (I shifted the lens up 4mm for this one). As far as filters go, I got to put my 3 stop reverse GND to use since the horizon was basically flat and the brightest part of the scene was right at the horizon. It did the trick and allowed me to get the entire dynamic range into one shot and not have to mess with HDR or exposure blending.
