Here I am, just minding my own business, driving to Tahoe for some architectural photography when I start to see the makings of a beautiful sunrise. The timing couldn’t be better as I pass by the Emigrant Gap vista point and see the valley below also filled with fog. I didn’t have much time to setup my camera, but I ultimately opted for a panorama shot by using my 24mm tilt shift and 1.4 teleconverter. I was off the freeway, taking the shot and back on the freeway within probably 10 minutes. If you know me, you know I don’t like spontaneity in my photography and usually over plan every last detail. Not bad, all things considered.
